Thinking I might spend the $45 to get a nice Engineer brand solder sucker instead of a no-name aluminium one for $12. Even if the one I had did last ten years, my workplace got the same kind recently and the quality seems to have dropped quite a lot, it gets stuck due to bad fitment.

@ln @s0 same! I can really recommend it, it's an actually innovative design with the silicone tube If you didn't yet pull the trigger.. I can whole-heartedly recommend getting one of the nice Engineer ones.. had to suck out well over 300 joints with mine so far and it's made the experience an absolute pleasure, turning a couple of days job into a few hours
