I have plans to design a stand for the touch monitors for the lighting console in the venue I’ve spent the last 3 days working in. I think I can make a design that fits them side by side mounted just above the top of the console, and hopefully not obscure the view from the booth any more (the window is too high up as it is). This way they’re in front (able to see info at a glance without turning your head) and low enough to use the touch screens without fatigue.

This evening, as a test, I managed to use various bits and bobs to position one monitor in a similar spot to what I imagine would be best, though it’s higher as the stand won’t drop any further. The one on the left could be kept there, placed beside the other above the console, or rotated to vertical on the side there — I’d like to try that option but the stand doesn’t rotate.
